Tony Abbott Makes Brisbane Lions Logo Controversy An Election Issue

OPPOSITION LEADER TONY Abbott has backed the Fitzroy Lions in their quest to stop the Brisbane Lions using a new logo.
Mr Abbott said he would campaign on the issue at the upcoming federal election.
Mr Abbott declined to comment when asked if he had any other policies.
Prime Minister Rudd – a Queenslander – said he was a fan of the new Brisbane Lions logo and was “unlikely” to reverse his position.
