Bush “President Who Meddled With Freedom”

GEORGE W. BUSH today awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom to Colombian President Alvaro Uribe, former Australian prime minister John Howard and former British prime minister Tony Blair.

The East Room ceremony went according to plan until the ghost of Richard Nixon materialised with an award for Bush himself – the “President Who Meddled With Freedom”.
